Scotch VM Vinyl Mastic Tape (VM) is a sealing two-layer plastic tape consisting of a 0.65 mm thick vinyl base with a sticky black mastic applied to it. A combination of vinyl tape and mastics helps protect cable lines from moisture and corrosion. When working with a VM tape, there is no need to use special tools or heat sources.
